Host an International High School Exchange Student (Richmond, KY)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student.
• Attend the student's local high school classes.
• Help the student adjust to life in a new country and culture.
• Ensure the student has access to medical care if needed.
• Manage the student's personal expenses.
• Participate in activities organized by SHARE!

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a stable home environment.
• Be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have health insurance covering international travel.
• Be willing to commit to hosting for a full school year or semester.

Qualifications

• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
• Good organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help.
