Host an International High School Exchange Student (Henderson, KY)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student.
• Attend orientation sessions with the student and host family coordinator.
• Ensure the student has access to necessary resources and support.
• Participate in cultural exchange activities with the student.
• Support the student in adjusting to a new culture and environment.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to provide a safe and welcoming home environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Availability to host the student for a full school year or semester.

Qualifications

• Experience living or working internationally is a plus.
• Passion for cultural exchange and diversity.
• Willingness to adapt to new cultures and lifestyles.
