Position Highlights
The Hospitality Services Coordinator is responsible for creating an amazing atmosphere for the residents of Whispering Heights. The position provides a 5 star experience by creating an environment of service and joy all while enhancing the homelike feel of the facility.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive, outgoing personality
- A genuine heart of patience and service for the elderly
- Ability to work independently or as a strong team member
Position Requirements
- Completion of safety and sanitation course and modified diets course
- Annnual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved
- Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter
