About the role
This full-time position in Rockford, MI focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining operational standards, and supporting team development in a full-service, casual dining restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Understand and enforce all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
- Ensure all guests receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
- Maintain consistency in food preparation and service according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, facility appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness through team training and a positive work environment.
- Adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies.
- Fill in where needed to uphold guest service standards and ensure efficient operations.
- Develop team members across all areas of operation.
- Verify that all products are received in correct unit count and condition, following the restaurant’s receiving policies.
- Stay knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and operations.
- Comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations related to health, safety, and labor requirements.
- Manage in-house and off-site events from initial request through event conclusion.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to communicate in the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s operating area.
- Minimum of three years of experience in full-service, casual dining.
- Experience with full-service alcohol-serving facilities is desirable.
- Strong basic math skills and proficiency in operating a POS system.
- Experience with event planning is a plus.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
