Hospitality Butler/House Manager
About the Role
A warm and dynamic executive couple is seeking an experienced Hospitality Butler/House Manager to oversee all aspects of their beautifully run home. This role is ideal for someone with a high "Martha factor," a love for animals, and a talent for making everything run seamlessly behind the scenes. You will manage vendor coordination, serving, laundry, light cleaning, administrative duties, and tech support. The couple shares their life with six adored pets (two dogs and four cats), so a genuine love of animals is essential, as you will care for them when the couple is away.
This position involves travel between properties in Palm Desert, the Hamptons, and Delaware. You will open and prepare each home ahead of the couple’s arrival, ensuring everything is guest-ready year-round. The pace varies with the seasons—busy during the desert season and more relaxed in the summer—though travel remains a consistent part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Household management and oversight of all daily operations
- Vendor coordination and management
- Formal and informal serving
- Laundry and wardrobe care
- Light cleaning and maintaining household standards
- Administrative duties and tech support
- Pet care for two dogs and four cats
- Travel between properties in Palm Desert, the Hamptons, and Delaware
- Opening and preparing homes ahead of client arrival
- Hands-on maintenance and general household repairs
- Errand running and personal assistance as needed
- Caring for pets during client travel
- Driving the principals, family, and guests with professionalism, discretion, and safety
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility required.
Pay
$120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience.
