Hospitality Associate, Patient Services - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Captures and coordinates with hospital floor staff to ensure timely and appropriate meal delivery.
• Ensures accuracy of patient information and dietary preferences.
• Prepares and delivers food trays to patients, ensuring they are warm and garnished appropriately.
• Communicates with patients, soliciting feedback and addressing concerns.
• Follows procedures for handling late trays and maintains proper food temperatures.
• Stocks and prepares refrigerators and warmers, and assists in food preparation as needed.
• Researches and understands various diets and allergies, disposing of waste and cleaning equipment thoroughly.
• Operates dish machines and labels inventory items.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous food service experience and/or training is preferred.
• Ability to perform on-the-job training.
• Basic mathematical skills and record-keeping abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow departmental policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
