Responsibilities
- Captures and coordinates with hospital floor staff to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery.
- Ensures patient information is correct and matches dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Prepares and delivers food trays promptly, maintaining hygiene standards.
- Communicates with patients, gathering feedback and addressing concerns.
- Stocks refrigerators and prepares side dishes as per diet manuals.
- Operates dish machines, cleans equipment, and maintains inventory records.
- Follows established procedures for handling late trays and managing food quality.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Previous food service experience and/or training is preferred.
- Ability to perform on-the-job training.
- Basic math skills and record-keeping abilities.
- Positive communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
