Responsibilities

  • Captures and coordinates with hospital floor staff to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery.
  • Ensures patient information is correct and matches dietary preferences and restrictions.
  • Prepares and delivers food trays promptly, maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Communicates with patients, gathering feedback and addressing concerns.
  • Stocks refrigerators and prepares side dishes as per diet manuals.
  • Operates dish machines, cleans equipment, and maintains inventory records.
  • Follows established procedures for handling late trays and managing food quality.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Previous food service experience and/or training is preferred.
  • Ability to perform on-the-job training.
  • Basic math skills and record-keeping abilities.
  • Positive communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
