Responsibilities
- Complete routine operational tasks under direct supervision.
- Support departmental change efforts and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop foundational knowledge of the hospitality industry, relevant data services, and industry practices.
- Establish effective working relationships and learn from subject-matter experts.
- Apply knowledge of event management software and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to:
- Schedule Conference Center meeting requests.
- Respond to routine inquiries.
- Distribute daily reports by email.
- Aid with catering services and ensure conference rooms are ready for meetings and events.
- Support room setup and provide event materials, including:
- Easels
- Flip charts
- Whiteboards
- Table linens
- Provide basic audiovisual equipment support as needed.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and linens.
- Cooking and cleaning of linens.
- Coordinate dry-cleaning services for linens.
- Conduct weekly inspections of meeting rooms and contact the appropriate department when maintenance or service is required.
- Provide coverage and assistance to the Hospitality and Office Services teams as needed.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Eagerness and ability to learn new processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a highly team-oriented environment.
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and team members while supporting individuals throughout the organization.

Qualifications
- High school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), higher secondary education, or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality or a related industry is preferred.
