Hospitality Assistant, P/T - Hope Restored, TX

About the role

Focus on the Family is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our team at our new location in Wimberley, TX. This position provides stewardship for all aspects of serving couples through food service and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals from predetermined menus for intensives, retreats, and special events
• Serves, interacts, and is sensitive to the needs of the couples and guests
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and dining area, daily
• Observes and follows all Health Department Codes
• Attends and maintains Chemical Training Certification
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in food service preparation
• Achieves and maintains Serve Safe Certification and Chemical Training Certification
• Strong customer service and people skills
• Flexible in adjusting priorities
• Ability to work independently with very little immediate supervision
• Ability to work with various food preparation machines and equipment, sharp knives, and various chemicals

Benefits

This position offers a $350 hiring bonus. The bonus will be paid to the hired candidate half after 30 days ($175) and half upon the successful completion of 6 months of work ($175).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $22.00/hr.
