Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (Nocturnist)
About the Role
Join our close-knit team of 13 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) at Wyoming Medical Center. We work with the support of a clinical performance nurse and a hospitalist program manager in a collaborative environment that values seamless transitions of care. Our hospital uses Cerner as our EMR and an integrated informatics platform for efficient record-keeping.
We are a 249-bed, Level One trauma and referral hospital with robust subspecialty support, serving a diverse patient population. This role offers a great deal of autonomy, focusing on cross-coverage for patients within our East Campus during the week and Main Campus on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospitalist care as a Night Nurse Practitioner, addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Board-certified/eligible Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care Trained NP preferred).
- Experience as a hospitalist NP is strongly desired.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Schedule
- Night role with 12-hour shifts: 7 pm - 7 am.
- Block schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off.

Pay
$170,000 annual base compensation plus incentives.
