About the role
Provide comprehensive inpatient care as a Hospitalist at a large urban quaternary care hospital, serving as the primary physician for hospitalized patients. Join a large team of over 80 hospitalists. This role emphasizes compassionate, collaborative inpatient care in a resource-rich environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the attending physician overnight
- Review patient histories
- Synthesize clinical data
- Evaluate and coordinate patient care
- Collaborate with ICU, emergency medicine, and specialty services
- Provide consultation and procedural care within scope
- Utilize advanced electronic health records
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency in Internal Medicine
- Board eligible/certified by ABMS or AOA
- Active Minnesota medical license or ability to obtain
- DEA certification
- NPI
- ACLS/BLS Tier 3 certification
