Job Responsibilities

• Enforce laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, and policies related to the operation of the facility.
• Provide security and protection for patients, staff, visitors, and property.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist in crisis management.
• Interact with patients, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform routine patrols and conduct surveillance activities as needed.
• Investigate incidents and gather evidence as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Participate in training programs and ongoing education to maintain certification and skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Completion of a law enforcement academy or equivalent training program.
• At least one year of experience in law enforcement or security.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay and Schedule

The starting salary range for this position is $6,154.00 - $7,719.00 per month, with the actual salary determined by the candidate's qualifications and experience. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
