Hospital Medicine - Physician - Colorado Springs

About the role

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time and focused on excellent patient care. Physicians will work 160 shifts per year as full-time. Each shift is 12 hours and extra shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Primary coverage of two hospitals: Memorial Hospital Central (level 1 trauma) and Memorial Hospital North (level 3 trauma)
• Average daily census per physician is 16-17 patients/shift with 3-5 new admissions
• Board-eligible/certified in Internal Medicine
• Epic EMR utilized system-wide

Schedule

This hospitalist group primarily covers two hospitals; Memorial Hospital Central (level 1 trauma) and Memorial Hospital North (level 3 trauma). The schedule is seven-on-seven off.

Pay

The pay range for this full-time position is $305,000-$340,000 annually. This position is eligible for additional quality and productivity bonuses.
