Internal Medicine - Physician - Colorado Springs

About the role

Enjoy 36 patient contact hours per week. Call is phone-only and shared in a 1:10 rotation. Integrated behavioral health on site. Ancillary services within the facility include: lab, x-ray, cardiac rehab, orthopedics, endocrinology, wound care, and physical therapy. Care-team model with RN and clinical MAs that help with inbasket support.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to patients in a busy setting.
• Participate in the integrated behavioral health services available on-site.
• Collaborate with ancillary services including lab, x-ray, cardiac rehab, orthopedics, endocrinology, wound care, and physical therapy teams.
• Work within a care-team model with RNs and clinical MAs to support your in-basket tasks.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved residency program in Internal Medicine.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Colorado.
• Experience in a primary care setting preferred.

• Ability to manage a high volume of patient interactions.

Pay

The pay range for this full-time position is $274,000-$305,000 annually.
