Hospital Manager II

Job Responsibilities

• Mentor the staff and oversee the business operations and maintenance of the facility
• Achieve efficient and profitable hospital operations
• Formulate objectives and policies to ensure the success of the hospital
• Hire, review, discipline, and terminate professional staff
• Prepare and submit the yearly budget and participate in the evaluation process
• Model an “owner” mentality by assisting all employees in making the practice a success
• Minimize patient stress and discomfort
• Recommend referrals to other VCA doctors or specialists
• Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and ensure logs are up-to-date
• Supervise the administration and case review of client medical records

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of customer service and financial budget management experience
• Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to make decisions, delegate responsibility, and achieve results
• Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude
• Willingness to work with clients and their pets
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deal with changing priorities
