Hospital Liaison

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with necessary equipment, disposables, patient setup paperwork, and marketing literature needed for the day.
• Make rounds to contact all case managers each day at each assigned facility to inform them of your presence for patient discharge equipment needs.
• Communicate with the center throughout the day regarding oxygen discharges to schedule service representatives for home equipment setup.
• Understand and communicate insurance coverage criteria to case managers and patients as applicable.
• Complete setup paperwork daily for all delivered equipment.
• Assist with obtaining CMNs (Certificate of Medical Necessity) and chart notes as requested by the center for billing purposes.
• Provide education on insurance criteria, documentation requirements, equipment, and available programs to benefit patients and facilitate discharge.

Pay

$16 to $23 per hour.
