About the role
The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various healthcare facility areas, including patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces.
Responsibilities
- Clean and polish surfaces
- Sweep/vacuum floors
- Dust furniture
- Wash walls and windows
- Empty wastebaskets
- Replenish supplies
- Transport small equipment
Qualifications
Experience in janitorial or medical cleaning preferred; must pass medical, background, and drug screenings.
Requirements
Regular standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and use of hands required. Exposure to chemicals, fumes, and occasional mechanical parts. Noise level typically quiet.
Pay
