Hospital Attendant - Equipment Transporter - Part Time Night Shift (11:00 PM-9:30 AM)

Duties

• Transport equipment and materials/computer printouts and specimens to all areas of the hospital in the most timely and efficient manner.
• Exhibit a courteous customer service attitude during transport.
• Locate equipment during retrieval runs to replenish inventory.
• Deliver Lawson orders.
• Wash equipment in the equipment washing area of Transport Services.
• Perform daily scheduled runs for the delivery of computerized reports, supplies, and Medical Records.
• Ensure all services are being performed efficiently and act as the responsible party to respond to service issues and take appropriate remedial action.
• Manually run equipment elevator.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
• A high school diploma and previous experience working in a hospital setting, and/or with the patient population preferred.
• Excellent intrapersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to work with all levels of the organization.

Employment Requirements

Pay Range

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position is $35,496 / year *Pro Rated by Part Time Hours. The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate’s validated years of comparable experience.
