Hospice Volunteer Coordinator

About the role

The Volunteer Coordinator (VC) has overall responsibility for the Agency’s Volunteer Program. Volunteers must be used in day-to-day administrative and/or direct patient care roles that meet the needs of the patient and family/caregivers. The VC is responsible for recruiting, training, retaining, and supervising volunteers.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred)
• Experience in recruitment and management of hospice volunteers preferred
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and the community
• Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance required
• Current driver’s license
