About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Haven Home Health & Hospice provides skilled nursing services to patients in their homes during the end of life process in accordance with physician orders. This role is ideal for a nurse passionate about helping patients live their final days with dignity, peace, and comfort while supporting families through every step of the journey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments including physical, emotional, and mental needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the end of life process
• Provide compassionate care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs in delivering nursing services
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Preferred minimum of one year nursing experience within the last five years
• Hospice or home health experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in computer skills and clinical documentation
• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate patient needs
