Hospice Registered Nurse - On Call (Nights 7/7)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized hospice care wherever patients call home—including private residences, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living communities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, CNAs, and volunteers to develop care plans that support the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
• Maintain lower clinician caseloads and higher staff-to-patient ratios to spend more meaningful time with patients and families.
• Depending on strengths and interests, various nursing opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of practice.
• A passion for providing exceptional, patient‑centered hospice care.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with interdisciplinary care teams.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing your daily schedule.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance patient visits, documentation, meetings, and urgent needs.
• Comfort learning and utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance to travel throughout the service area.

Pay

Pay range $80,000 – $85,000 per year (DOE), plus bonus opportunities. Earn full‑time pay while working an average of only two weeks per month. Pick up additional visits during your off weeks for extra income.

Schedule

Registered Nurse – On Call Nurse, Night shift 5:00 pm – 8:00 am (daily end/start time, no continuous on call, 7 on/7 off).
