Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Administrator in establishing and implementing marketing initiatives.
- Maintains resource allocation according to budgetary limitations.
- Conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan.
- Achieves budgetary volume projections through marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
- Buys and monitors community, customer, and patient perceptions of CONTINUUM CARE HOSPICE, LLC as a high-quality provider of services.
- Contributes to organizational strategic planning, identifying opportunities for additional or improved services.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of CONTINUUM CARE HOSPICE, LLC markets, including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources.
- Maintains and reports on the cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least three (3) years' experience in health care marketing management, preferably in hospice care operations.
- Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
