About the role
This role will work with hospice clients to provide personal engagement and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conducts rigorous clinical assessments of cases, evaluating diagnosis, prognosis, pharmacotherapy, and overall trajectory
- Offers structured guidance to clinicians to uphold quality standards
- Priorites care goals, comprehensive planning, and clinical staff performance evaluations
- Oversees or assists in clinical staff performance evaluations
- Chairs or participates in clinical case conferences, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration
- Spearheads the development and refinement of clinical protocols, guidelines, and organizational policies
- Strictly adheres to professional clinical standards and ethical guidelines
- Engages in clinical quality assurance and performance improvement, providing leadership and expertise
- Commits to ongoing professional development through clinical workshops and participation in clinical networks or societies
- Undertakes additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services
Requirements
- Holds a valid Colorado State Nursing License as a Registered Nurse
- Has a minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, specializing in end-of-life care
- Prior experience in clinical leadership or supervisory roles REQUIRED
- Prior experience with CHAP, ACHC or JCAHO REQUIRED
- Capable of self-direction and autonomous work
- Skilled in clinical coordination and communication
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current active RN license in Colorado
- Experience in hospice care preferred

Pay
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $110,000 - $125,000 with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location within the state.
