Job Overview
The Crew Member is responsible for maintaining a variety of landscape structures ranging from typical grassy areas to more granular items like houseplants. This person will assist with installation and care of plant material, perform pruning tasks, and ensure job sites are kept clean and tidy.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and care of woody, perennial, and annual plant material
- Perform installation and maintenance responsibilities such as mulching, planting, grading, etc.
- Ensure job sites and/or maintenance properties are kept clean and tidy and free of plant debris
- Remove weeds and dead plants as needed to preserve the health and natural beauty of the plants
- Trim overgrown limbs, hedges, and leaves to ensure an appealing look to the area
Requirements
- At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar job
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
- Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
