Homeless Outreach - Community Navigator
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Community Navigator - Homeless Outreach to join our team. In this vital role, you'll have the opportunity to connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness with essential services, shelter, and housing resources.
Responsibilities
- Connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness with essential services, shelter, and housing resources.
- Collaborate with city departments and community organizations to support the needs of those in need.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals and families navigating the challenges of homelessness.
- Engage in outreach efforts to identify and assist individuals and families in need of assistance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, or related field required.
- 1 - 3 years previous experience working with social services or with non-profit organizations preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations and training in trauma informed care and/or poverty or homelessness issues required.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Must possess current CPR and First Aid certificate or be able to obtain within six months of hire.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, or a related field, 1-3 years of relevant experience, and experience working with diverse populations and training in trauma-informed care and/or poverty or homelessness issues. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may also be considered.

Pay
The hiring range is $65,966.49 - $73,296.10 / annually.
