About the role

America’s Preferred Home Warranty (APHW) is seeking a Home Warranty Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales professional passionate about helping homeowners protect their largest investment while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue through Direct-to-Consumer home warranty sales
• Handle Request for Quote (RFQ) leads and inbound consumer sales opportunities
• Re-engage expired customers through proactive win-back campaigns
• Manage escalated renewal opportunities transferred from the Homeowner Concierge team
• Help reduce customer cancellations through effective save strategies
• Present and sell multi-year warranty options and optional coverage upgrades
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to identify homeowner needs and recommend appropriate warranty solutions
• Build trust and long-term relationships with homeowners through exceptional customer service
• Overcome complex objections while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of APHW products, coverage options, pricing, and promotions
• Accurately document customer interactions and sales activity within the CRM
• Generate qualified referrals to the Home Services team when additional homeowner needs are identified
• Achieve individual sales, productivity, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction goals
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position APHW solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong consultative sales and customer service skills
• Proven ability to close high-intent sales opportunities
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone presentation skills
• Strong objection handling and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic, integrity, and positive attitude
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly with customers
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced sales environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Experience selling home warranties, insurance, financial products, home improvement services, or other consumer protection products is a plus
• Experience working in a metrics-driven sales environment preferred

• Monday-Friday: 12pm-9pm
• Monday-Friday: 2pm-11pm
• Tuesday-Saturday: 12pm-9pm
• Tuesday-Saturday: 2pm-11pm
• Location: Remote or In-person at the Jackson, MI Corporate Office
