Responsibilities

  • Sells Vector’s residential solutions and achieves sales orders, RMR, and unit targets.
  • Generates sales opportunities through cold calling, community involvement, creating community partners, and engaging exiting customers.
  • Works assigned leads, documents the status, and maintains a high closing percentage.
  • Maintains in-depth product knowledge via ongoing training and required certifications.
  • Edits customers about Vector Security products and services.
  • Upholds relationships with clients to ensure they remain satisfied, that their questions are answered, and that their needs are met throughout the life of the customer.
  • Identifies ways to market products to new consumers, including identifying new target market segments/opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - preferred
  • High School Diploma - required
  • Possessing prospecting skills to expand residential business
  • Having selling and customer service experience
  • Having closing skills to close sales at a rate deemed acceptable by management to meet performance levels
  • Overcoming objections and having strong negotiation skills
  • Holding a valid driver's license

Qualifications

  • Prospecting Skills: Building new relationships and generating new business for the company.
  • Selling and Customer Service Experience: Interacting with potential customers and demonstrating the value of Vector’s products.
  • Closing Skills: Closing sales at a rate deemed acceptable by management to meet performance levels.
  • Valid Driver's License

Skills

  • Product Knowledge: Maintaining in-depth product knowledge via ongoing training and required certifications.
  • Customer Education: Educating customers about Vector Security products and services.
  • Relationship Management: Upholding relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and meet needs.
  • New Consumer Marketing: Identifying ways to market products to new consumers, including identifying new target market segments/opportunities.
