About the Role

A Home Providership is a contractual agreement, with a generous stipend, that may serve as an alternative or supplement to traditional employment. This opportunity allows you to act as a positive role model and mentor, directly enhancing the quality of another’s life while receiving educational and clinical training and support from our non-profit agency.

Our agency is dedicated to providing services to adults with developmental disabilities and individuals who are dually diagnosed. We match individuals with interested applicants (Home Providers) who are willing to share their home and life, serving as caregivers, role models, and mentors.

Responsibilities

• Model positive thinking and provide support for the individual’s physical and mental wellbeing.
• Assist with decision-making, accessing community activities, and other activities of daily living (ADL) skills.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• The individual requires their own room and a private or shared full bathroom.
• Applicants with handicapped-accessible homes are excellent candidates.
• All candidates must pass a background check, including criminal and driving records.
• Open to individuals, couples, or families interested in becoming home providers.
