Primary Responsibilities
- Perform residential property inspections in accordance with applicable Standards of Practice.
- Inspect structural, exterior, roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, insulation, ventilation, and interior systems and components.
- Identify, document, and communicate material defects and significant observations.
- Prepare accurate, complete, and timely inspection reports.
- Capture clear photographs supporting inspection findings.
- Explain inspection findings professionally to clients and their representatives.
- Maintain assigned inspection equipment, vehicles, tools, and technology.
- Maintain required licenses, certifications, and continuing education.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience consistent with AA Home Inspection's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Represent AA Home Inspection with professionalism, integrity, and courtesy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, tablets, mobile devices, and inspection software.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Licensing
- Maintain all licenses required to perform home inspections in the states where assigned.
- Complete all required continuing education to maintain licensure.
Preferred
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) certification.
- Previous residential home inspection experience.
- Familiarity with Scribeware Reporting Software.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to drive throughout the assigned service area.
- Walk on uneven terrain and around buildings.
- Climb ladders, stairs, and accessible roof areas when conditions permit.
- Enter readily accessible attics, crawl spaces, basements, and utility areas.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and stoop throughout the workday.
- Lift and carry inspection equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Work safely in varying weather and environmental conditions.

- Maintain assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
- Represent AA Home Inspection professionally and ethically at all times.
