Home Inspector

Position Summary

A growing national company is seeking individuals to join a team of professional home inspectors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable, and presentable, and follows our standard process to complete an accurate, thorough quality home inspection and detailed report.

Role And Responsibilities

• Required to have at least a basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements.
• Works in various weather conditions, climbs ladders, walks on roofs, accesses crawl spaces and attics, and stands for long periods of time.
• Necessary for report writing and communications.
• Stays current on latest company initiatives, policies, and procedures, while continually developing advanced technical knowledge in building science.
• Punctuality, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic are also required.

Qualifications And Requirements

• 5+ years of remodeling construction background or home maintenance repair experience required.
• Strong understanding of building codes, laws, and government regulations.
• Personal vehicle + valid driver’s license & car insurance.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit for climbing ladders, walking on roofs, accessing crawl spaces and attics, and standing for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or other.
