Home Infusion Nurse - Part-Time

About the Role

A Home Infusion Nurse provides personalized, skilled clinical care to patients in their homes or ambulatory infusion suites, promoting safe and effective infusion therapies. The role emphasizes autonomy, patient connection, and interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Travel within designated areas to administer infusion services in accordance with policies and physician orders
• Assess patient suitability, including safety and support systems
• Establish and maintain vascular access devices and administer medications
• Monitor patient responses, manage infusion reactions, and document clinical information accurately
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care and therapy management
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and contribute to staff training

Requirements

• Active RN license in the relevant state
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• At least 1 year of RN experience supporting infusion or IV therapy in clinical settings
• Strong clinical judgment, independence, and collaboration skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to cover an 80-mile service radius

Preferred Qualifications

• Home infusion experience
• Familiarity with EMR and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of industry standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
