Home Infusion Nurse Manager
About the Role
The Home Infusion Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of operations and clinical practice in assigned patient care areas to provide quality, individualized patient care. This role leads staff in modeling a professional practice environment by fostering clinical competence, interdisciplinary collaboration, staff autonomy, continuous learning, and a patient-centered culture. The manager assumes fiscal responsibility, supports research, participates in strategic planning, and ensures patient advocacy.
This position reports to the Assistant Chief Pharmacy Officer, Home Infusion, and the Ambulatory Chief Nursing Executive.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management (25%): Oversee daily operations, staffing, and clinical practice to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Quality (25%): Maintain and improve clinical standards and patient outcomes in alignment with UC Davis Health philosophies.
- Nursing Research (25%): Support and participate in research initiatives to advance evidence-based practice.
- Professional Development (25%): Provide staff with opportunities for in-service and formal education, emphasizing continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- Valid California Registered Nurse License without restrictions.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) plus either:
- A completed Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field, or
- Active enrollment in a Master’s program with completion required within three (3) years of hire.
- 5 years of nursing experience.
- 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a Home Infusion, Home Health, or Infusion Clinic setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet specialty-specific clinical competencies.
- Working knowledge of applicable Standards of Practice.
- Proficiency in healthcare technology within the specialty area.
- Commitment to customer service and meeting the needs of patients and healthcare colleagues.
- Full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in field of practice (e.g., Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI), Vascular Access-Board Certified (VA-BC), Nurse Executive-Board Certified (NE-BC), or Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NEA-BC)).
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN or MS).
- Home Infusion Pharmacy experience.
- Oncology experience.
- Infusion Clinic experience.

Pharmacy services extend to three inpatient pharmacies, five outpatient pharmacies, two infusion pharmacies, a home infusion service line, and full purchasing, stores, and distribution support.
UCDH Health at Home is a rapidly growing department delivering advanced infusion care in patients' homes and an on-site Infusion Suite. The department prioritizes patient-driven care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and user-friendly home infusion services.
Pay
Salary Range: $169,300.00 - $342,300.00 per year (Monthly).
Schedule
- Full-time (100% time).
- Shift: Full-time, on-site.
- Location: Pharmacy Shared Service Center (BLDG108).
