Nurse Manager- Infusion

About the Role

As a core member of the Nursing team, you will oversee all regional nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, labor costs, clinical care, and quality assurance. This role reports to the Regional Director and supports an entrepreneurial-founded company with continuous professional development and career progression discussions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing services are provided professionally and in compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and accepted clinical standards.
• Ensure policies and procedures comply with all applicable regulatory requirements, including understanding nursing regulations in multiple states.
• Oversee patient care coordination with Pharmacy staff and outside Nursing agencies.
• Participate in the branch Quality Assurance program, including nursing quality improvement initiatives and compliance monitoring.
• Oversee hiring, competency development, continuing education, performance appraisal, supervision, and discipline of nursing staff within the region.
• Coordinate activities of the nursing staff and provide safe, professional nursing care to infusion patients, including education, clinical monitoring, care planning, and coordination.
• Ensure 24/7 availability of nursing care using on-call nurses after business hours and oversee the on-call schedule.
• Support sales staff by accompanying them on sales calls, contributing to marketing tools, and developing in-services for referral sources.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in nursing management.
• Three to five (3-5) years of recent experience in home infusion and home health.
• Extensive experience in IV therapy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to travel within the region for nursing program support and supervisory responsibilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and evidence of automobile insurance.

Pay

Salary Range: USD $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
