Nurse Manager- Infusion

About the role

As a Regional Nurse Manager, you will oversee all regional nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, labor costs, clinical care, and quality assurance. This role reports to the Regional Director and supports sales staff in growing new business while ensuring nursing services are delivered professionally and in compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing services are provided to patients in compliance with company policies, state and federal regulatory requirements, and accepted clinical standards.
• Oversee patient care coordination with Pharmacy staff and external Nursing agencies.
• Participate in the branch Quality Assurance program, including nursing quality improvement initiatives, audits, and compliance monitoring.
• Manage hiring, competency development, continuing education, performance appraisal, supervision, and discipline of nursing staff within the region.
• Coordinate nursing staff activities, including patient education, direct patient care, clinical monitoring, care planning, and care coordination.
• Ensure 24/7 availability of nursing care using on-call nurses after business hours and oversee the on-call schedule.
• Support sales staff by accompanying them on sales calls, contributing to marketing tools, and developing clinical programs and in-services for referral sources.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in nursing management.
• Three to five (3-5) years of recent experience in home infusion and home health.
• Extensive experience in IV therapy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to travel within the region for nursing program support and supervisory responsibilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and evidence of automobile insurance.

Pay

USD $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
