About the role
The Home Infusion Nurse II position provides in-home IV therapy, medication administration, and patient education to patients with complex health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced nursing skills to provide in-home IV therapy, medication administration, and patient education.
- Travel within a designated region to deliver care in homes, clinics, hospitals, prescriber's offices, and virtual settings.
- Maintain patients, manage crises calmly, and document all interactions promptly.
- Collaborate with pharmacy teams and obtain prescriber orders as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support administrative tasks.
- Mentor and train new nurses, demonstrating high standards of care and compliance.
Requirements
- An active RN license in NC
- Relevant national certification (e.g., CRNI)
- 5+ years of infusion and critical care experience
- Proficiency with IV access
- A valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work weekdays, some evenings, and weekends
