Home Help Program Specialist

About the role

Employment type: Full-time or Part-time, with options for in‑office, remote (work from home), or hybrid arrangements. Current and former MDHHS Home Help caseworkers, specialists, supervisors, and program staff are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Home Help operations and compliance
• Work with clients, caregivers, and MDHHS staff
• Help resolve authorization and enrollment issues
• Provide guidance on Home Help program policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Current or former Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) employee
• Experience with the Home Help Program, including assessments, eligibility, authorizations, and case management
• Strong understanding of MDHHS Home Help policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pay

Compensation: $65,000–$90,000 based on experience
