Registered Nurse (RN) Preceptor
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse, RN with a passion for clinical education to serve as a Preceptor. The role involves training, coaching, and mentoring newly hired RNS and LPNs, working one-on-one with nurses to ensure exceptional care for adult and geriatric patients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Precept newly hired RNs and LPNs
- Provide one-on-one clinical training to all field RNs and LPNs during home visits
- Collaborate with the RN Clinical Manager and Clinical Educator to ensure ongoing staff competencies
- Maintain a small caseload of patients
- Perform assigned duties of the RN Case Manager, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform client assessments as necessary
- Case management and coordination
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a touch pad tablet
Qualifications
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program
- A minimum of one year of recent Medicare Certified Home Health (VNA) experience
- Previous Precepting experience is a plus
Pay
$60.00 - $68.00 per point depending on qualifications, plus bonus opportunities!
