Registered Nurse (RN) Lead Preceptor

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse Lead Preceptor with a passion for clinical education. This role involves training, coaching, and mentoring newly hired RNS and LPNs, working one-on-one with nurses to ensure exceptional care for adult and geriatric patients in Worcester, Marlborough, Franklin, Leominster, and surrounding towns.

Responsibilities

• Precept newly hired RNs and LPNs
• Provide one-on-one clinical training to all field RNs and LPNs during home visits
• Collaborate with the RN Clinical Manager and Clinical Educator to ensure ongoing staff competencies
• Maintain a small caseload of patients
• Perform assigned duties of the RN Case Manager, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a touch pad tablet

Qualifications

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program
• A minimum of one year of recent Home Health experience
• Previous Precepting experience is a plus
