Major Areas Of Responsibility
- Ensure proper training and documentation techniques are taught to staff that follow and fulfill CMS guidelines.
- Provide training of home health aides and the supervision of home health aides during the supervised practical portion of the trainings.
- Minimize Patient Risk: Ensure quality and safe delivery of home health services.
- Oversight: Monitor field nurse activities regarding execution of OASIS, ICD9 coding, etc.
- Collaboration: Work with Training Team to deliver complete initial and recurrent clinical training. Collaborate with Training Manager regarding new initiatives. Work with the Quality Team to improve patient outcomes.
- Develop tools and learning aides for field staff and clinical training for annual competencies. Work with Training Manager to develop clinical care documents, disease management processes and clinical policies.
- Policies: Review clinical documentation and maintain current knowledge of all Medicare/ Federal/ Insurance / Company and Hospital guidelines, policies and protocol.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, at least one (1) year must be in the provision of home health care.
- Previous clinical training experience preferred.
- Capable of all physical demands.
