Position Overview

The Speech Therapist delivers quality patient care based on physician orders, including assessments, treatments, care planning, and family training.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services
• Develops evaluation reports and plans of care
• Coordinates with healthcare teams
• Maintains confidentiality
• Effective communication with staff, patients, and families
• Serves as a clinical resource
• Documents patient progress

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited institution
• Unrestricted SLP license in the practice state
• Current CPR certification
• PREFERRED: One year of recent experience in an acute care setting
