About the role
Provide personalized speech, language, voice, hearing, and swallowing therapy in patients' homes or facilities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and review treatment plans
- Assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Administer diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Monitor patient progress and report changes
- Provide patient and family education and training, including alternative communication systems
- Maintain documentation, reports, and participate in care coordination and discharge planning
- Uphold confidentiality and professional conduct
Requirements
- Minimum six months of speech therapy or speech-language pathology experience
- Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Compliance with TB screening and driver safety programs
Qualifications
- Preferred: Home health experience
