Position Overview

The Speech Therapist (ST) is responsible for developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to improve client outcomes. Working under supervision, the therapist assesses client needs, delivers therapy services, and coordinates care with physicians and caregivers. They ensure services comply with licensing standards, medical guidelines, and agency policies. Key duties include maintaining accurate medical records, instructing clients and families, and reviewing therapy effectiveness to maximize rehabilitation potential.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Speech Therapist
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance
• Preferred skills: strong organization, communication, attention to detail, time management, relationship-building, and experience in home health therapy and OASIS documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and develop therapy programs tailored to individual clients
• Implement and modify therapy plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
• Coordinate documentation and transfer of medical data to relevant parties
• Educate clients and caregivers to promote optimal functioning
• Address client and employee concerns, ensuring service effectiveness
