About the role
Pride Health is hiring a Home health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our client's healthcare facility in Dallas, Texas.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Coverage area: Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) and surrounding areas
- Job type: Local contract
- Contract length: 14 weeks
Pay
- Hourly range: $35.00 – $38.00 (based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education)
- Mileage reimbursement: Yes
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients in a home health setting under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Implement and document treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Travel to patient homes throughout the assigned DFW coverage area.
- Accurately complete clinical documentation and maintain patient records using HCHB or applicable EMR systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care and positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
- Current state‑required certifications and credentials
- Home Health experience preferred
