Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
About the role
Lifespan Therapy is an app-based network empowering qualified clinicians to connect with homebound geriatric patients in California since 2008. We are seeking experienced home health PTAs to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized plans of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Perform therapeutic interventions focusing on functional strengthening, gait training, balance, and fall risk reduction.
- Document patient responses to treatment and communicate with the supervising PT to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Manage caseloads by setting your own schedule and visit cadence based on the plan of care.
Requirements
- Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- CPR or BLS certification.
- Driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Physical + TB test (within the last year).
- Professional liability and business license (if applicable).
Where You'll Be Working
We serve a vibrant and diverse area of Los Angeles, including Echo Park, Los Angeles, Belvedere Gardens, and surrounding areas. Clinicians have total flexibility to design their own coverage zones, choosing specific neighborhoods, zip codes, or pockets that are most convenient for their commute and lifestyle.
