About the role

BayCare HomeCare is currently seeking a Home Health, Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to the community. The ideal candidate will be based in Lakeland, FL and will provide hands-on care in the home for a group of patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy.
• Provides the appropriate level of clinical direction for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Requirements

• BLS or completion of BayCare's Basic Resuscitation Course (BRC).
• Occupational Therapist State of Florida Licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Driver's License (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Prior experience in Home Care (1 year preferred).

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Pay

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional on-call work may be required.
