About the Role
Provide occupational therapy to patients in Verona and surrounding areas who are unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a home health team (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT, and SLP) to implement personalized care plans.
- Assess patients, identify deficits, set therapy goals, and document progress.
- Assist with exercises to enhance fine motor skills and coordination.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to improve home safety and reduce fall risks.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program with an active OT license.
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare.
- CPR certification and knowledge of home health regulations.
- Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and compassion.
