Home Health Nurse Manager - Mount Sinai Health- Full Time Days

About the role

The Home Health Nurse Manager oversees clinical staff for the licensed home care agency and nursing staff supporting home infusion services. They manage personnel issues in compliance with DOH regulations and contractual agreements, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient Experience: Supervises clinical staff and nursing staff, conducts agency orientation, and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
• Quality and Safety: Completes chart audits, identifies and investigates issues, fosters a safe environment, and participates in RCA processes.
• Operations and Administration: Supports implementation of mission and goals, maintains patient/employee confidentiality, and evaluates staff performance.
• Professional Development: Advances clinical competence, fosters a professional image, and supports staff in shared decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Master’s degree in nursing or health-related specialty preferred.
• Three to five years minimum demonstrated clinical and administrative expertise in nursing practice.
• Professional Board Certification in leadership and/or clinical specialty preferred.
