About the role

Hillcrest Home Care is seeking an experienced Home Health Med/Surg RN to join their Omaha‑area team. This role provides one‑on‑one skilled nursing care in patients’ homes, allowing you to step away from the traditional bedside routine while helping patients safely recover, manage their health, and maintain independence. The position offers daytime hours, flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and casual, part‑time, or full‑time options so you can build a schedule that works for your life.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
• Partner with patients, families, providers, therapists, CNAs, and other members of the care team

Requirements

• Current RN license in Nebraska or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of home health nursing experience
• OASIS experience preferred
• Experience with wound care, catheter management, and IV therapy preferred
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Skills

Strong assessment, communication, and time‑management skills.
