Anova Health Care Services is hiring a full-time LPN to provide the highest-quality care for patients in their homes across the Washington area, with coverage that can stretch into the South Hills.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Record patient medical history accurately and compose patient charts
- Take and record vital signs: blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and more
- Observe patients under treatment to track progress and identify medication side effects
- Monitor patient condition, including fluid intake and output
- Assist patients with daily activities such as eating and bathing
- Administer injections and prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds, and perform other basic care tasks
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families
- Communicate with families to offer guidance, comfort, and discharge instructions
- Document clinical notes clearly and concisely
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania LPN license and current CPR certification
- At least 1 year of home health experience
- Ability to handle a variety of care tasks within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A compassionate approach and the ability to handle stress
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance
