Responsibilities

• Aid patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Provide care by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Record patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss with supervisor
• Build relationships with patients through conversation or reading aloud to maintain mental health and alertness
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed
• Instruct patients in exercises or other activities to promote physical and mental well-being

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited CNA program
• High School Diploma or GED
• One-year prior professional experience
• Driver’s license required
• CPR certification required
